Jaylin Alexis began dance at 3 years old where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, lyrical, pointe, hip hop, and Cecchetti ballet. She earned her B.A. degree with high honors in Media & Information with a double minor in Dance and Fiction Filmmaking from Michigan State University. During her time at Michigan State, she was a company member of Orchesis Dance Company where she taught, performed and choreographed for their winter & spring performances. She has learned from dance professionals such as Debbie Allen, Eartha Robinson, Chantel Heath, Chloé Gray, Kylie Vinitski, Tracy Halloran, Brad Willcuts, and more.

Jaylin currently works for NUVO Dance Convention as a Convention Manager where she travels the country managing and running each event.

Jaylin is a skilled and versatile choreographer & teacher born and raised in Metro Detroit, but is now living in the Los Angeles area with a willingness to travel to inspire others. She’s ready to share her passion for choreography and to embark on exciting new dance journeys.
